"Prezi"

                Prezi is similar to Google Doc’s but Prezi is Power Points.  Prezi was created in 2009, it was not very popular, but now Prezi is very popular with 26 million registered. There is more than one prezi created every second. This website has some positives and negatives for businesses, social, entertainment, news, and recreational.

                Prezi is positive for businesses because people and other businesses can check out your power point. Also you can put up a power point and have your co-workers join and sign in so; they can see your power point. Socially Prezi is good so, you can share your power point with your classmates and your tutors. Prezi is positive for entertainment because you can just look at other peoples power points.  News Prezi can be positive because some people might have a lot of information on an article that you don’t know that much about.  For recreational it can be more fun to look at then power points.

              Prezi could be negative for businesses because if you have wrong information and it can make it look like you don'k know what your talking about. Also your account could get hacked and they might put up negative stuff. Also people might copy your power point because you don't know who is looking at your power points.  Socially Prezi could negative because you never know what you will be seeing on the power points. Also people could put up the wrong information. For news for Prezi it could be negative it could be a rumor or just the wrong information. Also they could put up news that many people would not approve of.  Prezi could be negative for entertainment and recreational purposes because you don't know who's power points your looking at. 

               Prezi just like every social network it has positives and negative. Prezi has many members and its increasing everyday. Just be careful what you post and be careful who you look up. Make an account and if you don't like then you could just delete your account.

Google Docs

 

            Google Docs, also called Google Drive is a very popular online source program. People share documents and people get to interact with each other.  It was created in 2005 and only select users were allowed to use it, but now there is about 10 million users using it now. Google Docs have positives and negatives for Business, Social, Entertainment, News, and Recreational.

            For business Google Docs can be positive because now they can share spreadsheets, documents, video films and pictures. All the employers have to do is join and sign in then you can see that.  Socially a Google doc account is good because you can share your essays with your classmates.  Also if you’re doing partner work you can share it with your partner if you can’t go to the person’s house.  Entertainment Google Docs can be positive because you can see what people are righting about or watch their videos. Also you can see people’s photos and spread sheets. For News, Google Docs can be positive because you can see videos about the news or documents about news.  Recreational you can share pictures and videos with people.

            For businesses Google Docs can be negative because it is not the same format as Microsoft. That’s not good because if the business does there work on Microsoft Excel they can’t post it on Google Doc’s.  Also if someone wants to copy it they can’t do it on Microsoft because it’s not the same format.  Socially it can be bad because people could put up the wrong information about their topic. Also people can just copy what people wrote. Entertainment Google Doc’s can be negative because people might not know what they will watch. News Google Docs can be negative because some people will lie about the news so, you don’t know what to believe. Recreational Google Docs can be negative because you might now know what you will be looking at.

            Google Docs can be positive and negative but, every website has positives and negatives. For Google Doc’s you just have to get used to the format for spreadsheets and for the writing. Many users out there to compare your stuff but some people might have the wrong information so, just be careful about who you click on.

Facebook

"Facebook"

            Facebook is a popular social network, perhaps the most used social network. Facebook is a huge part of societies for communication. The total number of monthly active Facebook users is around 1,110,000,000. Twitter is only 554,750,000 which is a little bit above half compared to Facebook. In every 20 minutes there is 3 million messages sent.  Facebook has positives and negatives for Business, Social, Entertainment, News, and Recreational.

            The positive for businesses for Facebook is that they can create a page and if someone likes the page it notifies the people that they are friends with. On the page they can put on a link to their website to take them to their website.  Facebook is positive socially because you can interact with people and meet up places with your friends or coworkers or family members. Also its good for people to interact with there old high school friends or college friends when they get older. The positives for entertainment are that you can play games on Facebook. Positives for News is that news can get spread around very easy, which is good just in case something is happening that you need to find out about.  You can go for Recreational to look up your friends and talking to them,

                The negatives for businesses for Facebook are that if they create a public page they can get people writing inappropriate stuff on the page. Also some people might think the link is a spam so, they won’t click on it. Socially Facebook can be very negative. There is cyber bullying happening all the time on Facebook. People can post embarrassing pictures of you or post pictures that you personally do not want up. Also your Facebook user can get spammed and your user will start sending people messages or post random pictures that you did not write or post. Facebook could get very boring at some points. Unlike Twitter when theres a tweet every second, Facebook is like every few minutes or so depending on who you are friends with. Personally almost everybody that I'm friends with is spammed so, its not even a real post. For news it can be negative because there could be rumors going around and you don't know to believe it or not. When your user gets spammed it sends messages to people to join "your game" which is spam and the app or game could get your personal information. 

             Facebook can be very good at some points but very bad at some points too.  Facebook is one of the most popular social network out there. People have different opinions about Facebook.  If you are trying to start a business then it could be a positive. Also if you haven't seen anyone in awhile and you want to catch up with them Facebook is also very good with that

"LinkedIn"

 

            LinkedIn is a professional network for businesses. LinkedIn was created by Reid Hoffman in 2002. LinkedIn is a worldwide network. Sixty-five percent of LinkedIn members are located outside of the United States. There are 30 million students and recent college graduates. There are positives and negatives of LinkedIn for businesses, social, entertainment, news, and recreational.

            The positives for businesses is that there businesses can get younger people to keep the business going. Also the younger the business get the longer they will be around if they picked the right people. Socially this is very good for college kids and recently graduated colleges kids because it is very to get a job once you leave college. Entertainment people can click on other businesses and check them out. For news it’s good to see if the businesses’ still there or not. Recreational purpose is good so, people can get a job faster.

            The negatives for businesses are that businesses never know what type of person they will get. Socially it can have some negatives like if your business is small people won’t look at it, or if the business is in a bad spot. Entertainment could be negative people use it too much for entertainment and not for work. Recreational people can still get rejected for a job.

            LinkedIn has some positives and negatives. For businesses it is hit or miss with the people you might get, but they could get a very good worker or an awful worker. This website makes tons of money since there is over 30 million students on this website.



Twitter

“Twitter”

                            Twitter is a popular social network. Twitter is a form of communication and helps promote businesses. Each tweet is 140 characters long. There is about 554,750,000 users. On average there are about 58 million tweets per day. People can favorite somebodys tweet if they like the tweet or find it funny. Also they can retweet the tweet which is when you press the button and it comes up on your profile even if you didn’t write it so that other people can see the tweet. Twitter has positives and negatives for business, social, entertainment, news, and recreational.   

                The positives of twitter for businesses is that they can market themselves, also the businesses can spread around to other people easy if somebody retweets it or favorites it so, the people that follow that person that retweets it they can go and look at it and if they like it they retweets it then it spreads around the world. The positives socially of twitter are that people can interact with each other and talk about what they think of a television show or movie or sports or etc.  Also they can tweet at famous people and sometimes they will answer you.  Twitter could be fun to go on because people can be funny or follow a fake account that’s hilarious that’s always fun.  Another positive thing about twitter is news. For example if you’re on twitter and you follow ESPN they can say a trade that’s happening and the person would retweet it then people will be talking about the trade on twitter.

               The negatives of twitter for businesses is that a twitter account can get scammed very easy.  Also if the business is not very good and it gets spread around then it will be very hard to get that business booming.  Socially twitter can be a very negative thing. People can get into twitter fights, cyber bullying, and also for professional athletes if they say something wrong on twitter the whole league finds out and it goes all over ESPN.  Twitter fights happen a lot especially with teenage girls or sport rivalry's. Cyber bullying happens a lot too. People can tweet at people making fun of them or post embarrassing pictures of the person they are bullying. Even if the person getting bullied blocks the person they can still tweet about them and people will see. There is always a fight about sports rivalry's. If you live in New York its always about who's better New York Football Giants or the New York Jets, or New York Knicks or Brooklyn Nets. 


             Twitter is a great website to go on but, you have to be smart when your on it. Like don't tweet anything offensive to anybody. Even if you delete the tweet businesses and colleges can still see the tweet even if its deleted.
