"Facebook"

            Facebook is a popular social network, perhaps the most used social network. Facebook is a huge part of societies for communication. The total number of monthly active Facebook users is around 1,110,000,000. Twitter is only 554,750,000 which is a little bit above half compared to Facebook. In every 20 minutes there is 3 million messages sent.  Facebook has positives and negatives for Business, Social, Entertainment, News, and Recreational.

            The positive for businesses for Facebook is that they can create a page and if someone likes the page it notifies the people that they are friends with. On the page they can put on a link to their website to take them to their website.  Facebook is positive socially because you can interact with people and meet up places with your friends or coworkers or family members. Also its good for people to interact with there old high school friends or college friends when they get older. The positives for entertainment are that you can play games on Facebook. Positives for News is that news can get spread around very easy, which is good just in case something is happening that you need to find out about.  You can go for Recreational to look up your friends and talking to them,

                The negatives for businesses for Facebook are that if they create a public page they can get people writing inappropriate stuff on the page. Also some people might think the link is a spam so, they won’t click on it. Socially Facebook can be very negative. There is cyber bullying happening all the time on Facebook. People can post embarrassing pictures of you or post pictures that you personally do not want up. Also your Facebook user can get spammed and your user will start sending people messages or post random pictures that you did not write or post. Facebook could get very boring at some points. Unlike Twitter when theres a tweet every second, Facebook is like every few minutes or so depending on who you are friends with. Personally almost everybody that I'm friends with is spammed so, its not even a real post. For news it can be negative because there could be rumors going around and you don't know to believe it or not. When your user gets spammed it sends messages to people to join "your game" which is spam and the app or game could get your personal information. 

             Facebook can be very good at some points but very bad at some points too.  Facebook is one of the most popular social network out there. People have different opinions about Facebook.  If you are trying to start a business then it could be a positive. Also if you haven't seen anyone in awhile and you want to catch up with them Facebook is also very good with that
